“Pura Vida”
The absolute most amazing festival to kick off festival season is almost here! From February 22-25, the 8th annual Envision Festival takes place in the beautiful destination of Uvita, Costa Rica. This 4-day eco-conscious festival in the middle of a rainforest that meets the beach is not your average festival. Our experience last year was soul-shaking and it was without a doubt we would return this year! Giving us another one-of-a-kind experience, Envision celebrates the expansion of the mind, body and soul by to deepening ones’ connections to nature, community, and higher self.
Envision really broadens the horizon of the average electronic music festival goer containing a huge variety of music from all over the globe. The musical performances are complemented with breathtaking entertainers, aerialists, fire dancers, and more. Not only adding to the ambiance of a music festival in the jungle but taking every act to that next level that can’t be described.
This is much more than a music festival. Attendees are provided with a spiritual awakening in many ways including, yoga, meditation, educational workshops, panels, and many other mind opening activities. Beautiful sunset ceremonies with live drums, dancing families and smiles everywhere. A sacred fire pit for those in need of a relaxed yet powerful “me” or “we” moments.
Many artists of every kind are working throughout the festival. They also showcase an “art museum” with a lot of the live artwork from these artists. The festival ground is one big masterpiece. The natural architecture blends in perfectly with the stunning stages that are constructed from local bamboo and materials, truly living up to the “eco-friendly” name they claim.
And did we mention this takes place in Costa Rica!? What better place to celebrate life and dance with thousands of lovely souls from all over the world, while encompassing a top-notch conscientious festival experience?
