Elements Festival is a Reason to Smile
The reason Elements Festival is one of the best boutique festivals in the world is that it has a family vibe with an emphasis on fun and friendship. For instance, Rawb Lane the camp counselor (AKA FunTender) will greet you with a smile when you arrive at Elements Festival, he is full of childlike mischief and wants you to play along. He and the rest of the BangOn! team wanted to make sure you join in on the summer activities like the roller rink or an impromptu water fight. And this is what happens for three days at Elements Festival.
This year the Fire Stage was breathtaking with flames that shot out from the top 30 feet in the Air! Every time they shot out the ground would shake and the temperature would noticeably rise. What a sight to behold and a fantastic update for the festival. The Earth stage was in a new place this year within the forest. We caught a few special sets from the amazing Beat Kitty and up-and-coming artist Charmae who sang her latest unreleased song with Conrank “Wake Up”. Other musical highlights included Liquid Stranger’s wobbly set on Sunday night and Of the Trees Saturday night indoors during the rainstorm.
It was really wonderful to find lots of vegetarian options at Elements, in fact, the food was on point with smoothies and brick oven pizza as well as authentic Thai food. There were lots of options and lines moved quickly with some new vendor locations at the Fire Stage.
We absolutely loved the costumes and festival fashion during the three days which were a mix of sunny, rainy and warm. Luckily the rain didn’t get anyone’s spirits down at all, the festival is called Elements after all and we were prepared for what came. Overall it was a wonderful weekend full of smiles and joy. Looking forward to next year!
