The third annual Bamboo Bass Festival releases 2018 festival lineup including international headline bass artists as well as featuring several notable Costa Rican and Central American acts.
“The ultimate goal of Bamboo Bass Festival is to bring artists from all over the world to Jaco Costa Rica,” comments Jordy Grant, Director and Founder of Bamboo. “There is a growing and thriving bass scene in Central America, and it gives electronic music enthusiasts the chance to get out of their comfort zone and experience a festival away from home, in paradise.”
However, Bamboo Bass is much more than a music festival. Following the success of 2017, event organizers have built strong roots within the community of Jaco and are involved in multiple community projects and benevolent programs, benefiting the local economy, schools and charities. 2018 is shaping up to see dynamic growth for festival attendance, with several exciting community projects announced in the coming months.
“In our third year, we’re positioning Bamboo Bass Festival to be the premiere destination festival for bass music, culture and art in Central America,” comments Grant. “We’re working with an incredible team of music industry professionals from Canada, The States and Costa Rica, and we’re excited to share year #3 with all of you.”
