What do you like to do in the spring? If you said shred some pow pow on a blue bird day while you listen to the best EDM acts in the game, Minus Zero festival is for you. Even before the bossman, Bassnectar was revealed as the headliner, this music festival already has so much to offer.
On April 7th and 8th, this second year spring festival kicks off at the Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont. It’s an outdoor festival and as the name implies, it does get to temperatures below zero so pack warm! There are plenty of lodging opportunities both on the mountain steps from the action or off the mountain just a short car ride away.
If you ride or ski you can add a lift ticket for the day or both days and explore nature on the sweet slopes of Stratton Mountain. Even if you have never tried it before, you can pick up some Ski/Snowboarding lessons and gain some insight from seasoned experts in a group setting or one-on-one tailored lessons designed with you in mind.
Don’t miss the Saturday morning Rail Jam & Jump Event sponsored by Monster Energy. If you think you’ve got the skills to compete, join 150 riders in the qualifying rounds and attempt to make it in the top 30. The final rounds will take place at 12 PM and all the finalists will receive Minus Zero Festival tickets. Protip: stay after the event to catch special demonstrations by professional snowsport athletes!
Lets talk about the MUSIC! This festival is sporting three stages. An extra stage called the Village Stage was just added with special guest Claptone and music starting at 1:00 PM. The Summit Stage will have a variety of acts starting at 11:30 AM and The Main Stage will kick things off at noon and end with Illenium and Zed’s Dead closing things down on Friday and finally, the grand send-off will be given by Griz and Bassnectar on Saturday Night. More like a WELCOME to the upcoming festival season.
