Mysterland USA is a festival that is held at none other than Bethel Woods NY, where Woodstock, the most iconic festival of all time took place over three days in 1969. Created first in the Netherlands in the 90’s, Mysteryland is one of the longest running electronic music festivals of all time and came to New York in 2014 and has since enjoyed its place as a premier music festival destination.
Mysteryland USA will be held from June 9th-12th and is a three-day outdoor camping festival that is top notch. The production level of Mysterland USA is one of the best in the world. Massive stages with incredible backdrops create an experience of music and visual synergy that will give you chills. Last year’s Main Stage design was incredible and (as a nod to the 2016 headliner Bassnectar) we saw two hummingbirds drinking the bassnectar from a bass drop. This year’s festival will have headliners G Easy, LCD SoundSystem and Major Lazor. We can’t wait to see what the stage designers come up with to compliment these different genres in music.
Besides the Main Stage, visit the bass heavy Boat Stage for headbanging beats all throughout the festival, or take a trip to the Big Top Tent for a heavy dose of techno and house acts and the Spiegeltent filled with artists that have been expertly curated. The festival producers put emphasis on “experience” and have interactive art displays for you to play with and include in fabulous photo ops. There are lockers located in the campgrounds and on the festival site to store your valuables and they come with a charging station so you can have full battery all weekend long.
Attendees of Mysteryland USA will mention the illustrious Mysteryland “Hill” which must be ascended from the campgrounds to reach the rhythmic EDM music up ahead. When you do decide to camp at Mysterland USA there are many camping options but we believe it would be in your best interest to camp at the exact spot where Woodstock legends performed, this spot is now known as the ‘Holy Grounds’. The ‘Holy Grounds’ are close to the music and have a food court area where the silent disco took place after hours in 2016.
