DETROIT, April 7, 2016—Movement Electronic Music Festival is pleased to announce its 10-year anniversary stage lineups, featuring over 120 performances across six stages inside Detroit’s legendary Hart Plaza on Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30, 2016.
Since its inception, Movement has been globally recognized as one of the most influential festivals in the country for its unique programming as well as its long-standing tradition of promoting a wide spectrum of up-and-comers, local luminaries and pioneers of electronic music, in the birthplace of Techno.
Legendary electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk will make history at their first-ever appearance at Movement as headliners for Saturday (May 28) on the Movement Main Stage, featuring the group’s critically acclaimed 3–D show (billed as Kraftwerk – 3–D).

Saturday will also include the return of Carl Craig’s Detroit Love showcase on the Made In Detroit Stage presented by THUMP, including performances by Stacey Pullen, Matthew Dear, La Fleur and Paul Woolford, just to name a few.
Detroit-based collective Interdimensional Transmissions celebrates its 21-year anniversary with a showcase on the Opportunity Detroit Stage, featuring a headlining performance by Claude Young as well as a new all-hardware, all-analog live show by Ectomorph (label founder Brendan M. Gillen and Erika).

On Sunday (May 29), Dubfire brings his live spectacle dubfire:live HYBRID to close out the Movement Main Stage, while hip-hop icon and defacto leader of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan RZA, featuring his live band Stone Mecca (billed as RZA feat. Stone Mecca), headlines theRed Bull Music Academy Stage.
Skrillex’s LA-based record label and creative collective OWSLA will bring forth some of the imprint’s top talent to the festival’s OWSLA Showcase, taking place on the Underground Stage, featuring Kill The Noise, What So Not, Alex Metric, Mija, Rezz and many more.

On Monday (May 30), Modeselektor will close out the festival with a special live set on the Movement Main Stage, marking the acclaimed dance duo’s first appearance at the festival and only performance of the year under the Modeselektor alias.
Techno darling Richie Hawtin will headline the Beatport Stage as part of the first-ever PLAYdifferently Protoypes Tour and new mixer launch. Notable performances on this stage include: Joseph Capriati, tINI and Hito.
Closing out the Made In Detroit Stage presented by THUMP, festival favorite Kevin Saunderson will be joined by Guy Gerber, MK (Mark Kinchen), The Saunderson Brothers and many more as part of the Techno pioneer’s ORIGINS series showcase (billed as Kevin Saunderson presents ORIGINS: Elevation).
