What The Festival Announces 2016 Lineup

With its stunning location, intimate crowd, unique lineup, high-energy vibes, and Splash Pool shenanigans, What The Festival was one of our absolute favorite festivals of 2015. Needless to say, we are ecstatic to share this year’s exquisite lineup.

Today What The Festival has announced the musical programming for its 5th edition featuring world renowned electronic and live performers.

Headliners like Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, Lettuce, Claude VonStroke, Lido, Mr. Carmack, and Tourist will be joined by scene dominating acts FKJ, Claptone, Hermitude, and The Gaslamp Killer, plus West Coast favorites J.Phlip, Hippie Sabotage, Jai Wolf, G Jones, Louis The Child, Random Rab, Kasbo and many more.

This world-class lineup will be showcased throughout What The Festival’s eight stages, privately owned 250 acre venue offering a full range of music environments. The festival has earned a legacy as one of the best sounding events in the country, utilizing 100% Funktion One sound systems.

What The Festival prides itself on offering fans a majestic departure from the ordinary, a lighthearted vessel of discovery and adventure. Whether time is spent splashing around at massive pool parties, roaming between countless art installations, or dancing at the late night stages attendees are promised a totally unique experience of a lifetime.

What The Festival has also launched its DJ Contest offering aspiring artists the chance to open the event’s Pool Stage with travel expenses covered up to $1,000. Contestants must record their best DJ mix and submit them for review betweenFebruary 24 and March 1. The best mixes will be narrowed down by the WTF team and presented to the public for voting.

What The Festival has built its reputation on a keen sense for creative curation and a deep obsession with unabashed fun. Taking place on one of the closest private ranches to Mt. Hood, the vibe is set with awe-inspiring mountain views, a perpetually cool forest, and of course the other-worldly immersive environments the festival has become known for.
